I worked with the digital marketing team at care homes for the elderly charity Anchor to update the website and improve its search rankings. I worked on the in-house content management system, uploading copy and ensuring the SEO strategy was implemented by checking keyword seeding and optimising tags and page titles.
I also checked to see that information had been brought across consistently from the old site, and suggested and implemented a raft of organisational points which would enable the team to use the new system flexibly and easily. I wrote a user guide to the new system.
The work I did in helping the new site go live resulted in an almost immediate improvement in Anchor's search rankings.
